Day Thirteen: Caught Off Guard

Words unspoken

A trail of tears

Reversed in our motion

Was this suppose to unravel all our love that we had to give

For you I could bleed profusely and never run dry

I would have asked for you to stay but I know the pull would have been stronger

You painted my tears on and I stayed still for it

You changed me and with your love I critiqued my heart on how to mend the broken parts of me

But sometimes I wish you had them

The pieces of me

What I would have given to see your soul expanding in your eyes

You had a way to sail my emoceans without crashing in

Until you caught me off guard and fell in

I engulfed the memory of you

Drowning in the pain you left me dancing in
