Day Fifteen: No More Hate

There’s a struggle in me that I allowed the world to define

I stand in my darkness to speak but I can’t hear me

The opinions of other’s ring louder as the sensation of falling grows greater

For every fall there’s a landing but I know I will never stick this

I know I will never feel bliss as I fall farther from the sun

More cold than I am warm

But I am warm

And if I could just fall deep into where my warmth resides at maybe I can bring the sun

But I have to reach past the world deep into my beginning

Find the love that I am and drown out their hate

Refuse the gifts they have to offer and say thank you anyways

Turn my mind to the love I chose for me
