Day Seventeen: No Sign of Sorry

Me too.

I was a victim of what many women have experienced from men…rape. It is always men we admire, grow to love, have known all of our life, or a stranger who feels compelled to inflict this hell onto us.

I would like to know the reason for their actions.
I would like to sit down, face to face, undress my anger, remain vulnerable with all my emotions, and ask questions. Why in this moment did you feel that your actions were necessary? Does this haunt you the way it has me? Are you sorry? Do you feel wrong? Is this a part of you that you hide because it’s too dirty to wear?
What did I do to deserve this?
I arrive upon this thought and I can’t fathom what I did to deserve any of it. So why is it possible for a person who refuses drama and violence to be thrown into such darkness.

    1. Yes hell is real. We live in hell through our choices. I don’t feel anything and it’s okay to feel the way that you do. Emotions should be had in many ways as they come. It’s a healthy way to deal with events and trauma. No one is just one thing because they have the choice. You’re welcome!
