i am home

a bicycle outside a window of a cottage home surrounded by flowers

my home is open to your love
my door frame is filled with a question of will you come in but is always unlocked
pour a gift into the place you take from

sometimes i perch on the window’s bay just to breathe in the life of the breeze
glass panes ajar allowing the external and internal to become one
i listen to the trees

they give me life
life I never asked for by my recollection
but I find myself grateful in the presence of what some would say is meaningless imperfections
it’s the little things
they whisper the beginning to our truth

in my house the law of duality is no more
